Members: to get involved NOW -
Neighborhood Associations are a voluntary social organizations. Unlike Homeowners Associations, we exert no control over the homes in our neighborhood.
If it has no power, why have a Neighborhood Association?
The Association maintains common green areas, hosts social events and family activities, and helps increase the overall value of the neighborhood. The NA produces a member directory, a recommended vendor/ contractor list, a discount card for neighborhood businesses and runs an exclusive Facebook group. Your paid membership will give you access to these benefits.
How much are the annual dues?

-Crime Watch – always looking for volunteers for VIP patrol (trained neighbors drive the area looking for potential problems and make reports to the neighbor and/or police) and for Block Captains.
-Communications - help reach all neighbors through the website, postcards, lawn signs, facebook and text alerts
Who is on the association’s leadership team?
-Board members are volunteers who have agreed to take leadership roles. Volunteers are always welcome to offer help with any committee or event.
How do I get in touch with the leadership team?
We can always be reached at PrestonwoodTrail@att.net
Also look for opportunities on this site to make your voice heard.
How many homes are in it and how many are members?
There are 460 homes in our neighborhood bounded east-west by White Rock Creek and Preston Road, and north-south by Arapaho and Berry Trail. We do not include the condos on the southwest side of Berry Trail or the zero-lot homes in Reflections, north of La Cosa between Preston and Trails End. Maps of our area are posted in the Files section.
How do new residents find out about the Neighborhood Association? What if I have a new neighbor I’d like to invite?
Membership volunteers welcome new neighbors with a gift basket and opportunity to discusss joining the NA. We also welcome you to invite new neighbors to this web page any time.
A car hit the wall along Preston Road. Who repairs that?
The wall along Preston Road belongs to, and is on the property of, the individual homeowners along each portion, except for the diagonal wall at the entrance corner at Preston Road and La Cosa. The city requires those homeowners to repair and replace their section of wall as needed.
Our Volunteers in Patrol (VIP) program, which continually needs more volunteers, is one method we try to use to increase safety.
We also will install reflective alley address signs to make houses more identifiable to first responders. The homeowner pays only for the cost for the sign. We also offer official No Soliciting signs.
I’m excited now. How can I help?
Join. Pay the annual dues.
Come to events and meet your neighbors.
Take a sick neighbor a meal.

Water some plants, help plan a social event.

Together, we can help keep it a great neighborhood!
